Families in Austin can look forward to sweet and festive fun at Thinkery, as the museum unveils a series of gingerbread workshops and a kid-friendly New Year’s Eve event.
Gingerbread Workshops

Thinkery, in partnership with H-E-B, will host gingerbread workshops over four days in late December. Alexa Clavijo, Senior Play & Learning Manager, said “A beloved holiday tradition at Thinkery, our Gingerbread Workshops invite families to build, decorate, and make sweet memories together through hands-on creativity and playful learning.”

New Year’s Eve Celebration
On December 31, Thinkery will host a New Year’s Eve celebration featuring two full hours of hands-on play and special experiences throughout the museum. “A festive, kid-friendly way to ring in the new year with two full hours of hands-on play and special New Year’s Eve experiences throughout the museum,” the museum announced.
