On Dec. 20, Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium hosted a Christian music concert featuring Andrew Peterson. A mistaken StubHub listing promoted the heavy-metal band Lamb of God instead, confusing fans and causing ticket holders to question their purchase.
What Happened
The venue’s website and Ticketmaster sold tickets for Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God, a program about the birth of Jesus. Yet StubHub advertised a different show, listing a photo of vocalist Randy Blythe and labeling the event as a top trending Lamb of God concert.
The listing featured a photo of the band’s vocalist on stage, and listed the show as a top trending event at the venue.

According to Lamb of God’s website, the band isn’t scheduled to be on tour until March 2026, and no shows have been announced in South Carolina.
StubHub’s Response
When the error was discovered, StubHub issued an apology and offered refunds. The company clarified that Lamb of God has no scheduled tour until March 2026 and has not announced any South Carolina shows.
StubHub spokesperson said:
> “We acknowledge the listing for the December 20 event at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium was misleading and apologize for the confusion this caused. Ahead of the show we updated the event page and reached out to customers to clarify the event details. Anyone who purchased tickets under the impression this was a different performance is encouraged to contact us – we’ll honor a full refund under our FanProtect Guarantee.”
