Around 1:30 a.m. in the 400 block of East 6th Street, two victims wearing Texas A&M gear were confronted by several assailants. The confrontation began when a suspect showed a “Hook ‘Em Horns” hand gesture, to which the victims replied by flipping the gesture-a common rivalry sign. Police say the suspects then started a physical assault, leaving both victims with minor injuries. One victim managed to photograph two of the attackers.
