Barton Springs Pool

Nestled within the expansive 358 acres of Zilker Park lies one of Austin’s most prized possessions – Barton Springs Pool. This three-acre pool is a true natural wonder, being fed by underground springs, which keeps it at an average temperature of 68 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. The pool is also supplied by Barton Creek Greenbelt, and its water eventually flows into Lady Bird Lake.

Barton Springs Pool Parking Information and Pricing

Barton Springs Pool has two primary parking areas, one of which is located off Robert E Lee and is free. However, during summer months, this area tends to fill up quickly. The other parking area is situated within Zilker Park and charges a parking fee of $3 from March to September.

Daily Entry Fees (Cash Only)

There are two ticket kiosks at the Barton Springs Bathhouse where visitors can purchase an entry ticket using their credit or debit cards. Upon purchase, visitors can present the ticket to the cashier for admission into the pool.
