UMLAUF After Dark Pride – Tuesday, June 7

UMLAUF After Dark Pride

UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum will host an After Dark Pride event on June 7th. This bi-monthly event is dedicated to Pride this month, providing an evening in the sculpture garden with an exhibition of works by queer artists and makers. Visitors will be entertained with music by Caleb De Caspar, beer from Austin Beerworks, and cocktails from Tito’s. The tickets for this event are priced at $12.

Pride’s Fav Comedian: A Queer Comedy Competition – Thursday, June 9

The Creek & The Cave

On June 9th, The Creek & The Cave comedy club will hold a comedy competition featuring 12 of Austin’s funniest queer individuals. The event will be judged by Diamond Dior Davenport, Chris Saldena, Aira Juliet, and a surprise guest. The event is for people aged 21 or older, and tickets cost $5 for the Early Bird rate and $15 for General Admission.

Pride Trail Run – Friday, June 10

The Pride Trail Run will take place on June 10th, starting from Spyglass Trailhead at 7:00 pm and finishing at 9:00 pm. This event is open to everyone, so grab your running shoes and head out for a 2-4 mile trail run. Tacodeli will provide tacos and drinks, and LuLuLemon will offer giveaways. Although the event is free, registration beforehand is preferred.

“Paris is Burning” – Friday, June 10

“Paris is Burning” Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre will screen the 1990 documentary film “Paris is Burning” on June 10th. The film delves into the stories of drag queens in New York in the late 1980s and is regarded as one of the most critical movies in queer history. Adult tickets are available for $11, and Film Pass Members can attend for free.

Waterloo Park will host the free and family-friendly event, Rainbow on the Creek on June 11th. It’s a full day of fun with live music, dance workshops, Drag Queen storytime, and much more. Vivent Health will also be available on-site to provide sexual health testing and gender-affirming care.

The Majestic Cabaret Ball – Saturday, June 11

The Legendary Mother Natalie Lepore will host The Majestic Cabaret Ball at the Paramount Theatre on June 11th. The ball will showcase performances from Austin’s queer faves, Diamond Dior Davenport and the Fat Bottom Cabaret. Visitors will be entertained throughout the night, and they might even become part of the entertainment. The tickets for the event are priced at $18.

Big Gay Pride Market – Sunday, June 12

Join the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce for their annual Pride in Local Music event, which is the culmination of Austin’s June Pride Month celebrations. This year’s event will feature an incredible lineup of live music, including headliners Brian Justin Crum and Bebe Zahara Benet, as well as Caleb De Casper, Bleached Roses, Pelvis Wrestley, and many other talented performers.

General admission tickets are $34, with a discounted rate of $23 for students with a valid ID. VIP tickets are also available for $129.
